Altoona is a city of approximately 45,000 people in western Pennsylvania. Pastor Rod Lingenfelter has led the Grace Brethren Church in Altoona congregation for almost 20 years. His son, Mark, has been the shepherd of Leamersville (14 miles away) for just a couple of years shy of that. For the past five years the two Lingenfelters have served together to ensure the health and sustainability of both of these western Pennsylvania church families.
The Altoona congregation has become a campus of Grace Fellowship Leamersville. Matt Plott stepped into the role of Campus Pastor in Altoona at the end of 2019. He will be working with the Assist team to prepare the Juniata Campus for a relaunch.
